About Our Partners

GSSN works with dozens of organizations and institutions across the educational spectrum to respond to the needs of Gazan students. In partnership with local communities and universities, GSSN is spearheading new models that provide longitudinal, wrap-around education for Palestinian students, bundling scholarship, community support, housing, and cost-of-living into one offering. Our collaborations with GSSN allies function as pathways allowing students to navigate through the admissions and application processes.

Institutional Partnerships
Building long-lasting institutional partnerships allows us to impact lasting change. Our leadership and counseling teams are engaged in global advocacy, coordination with other CBOs aiding under-represented students, and pathway development to sustainably support current and future generations of Gazan students. In 2024, GSSN established institutional partnerships with university systems around the world, including in Turkey, Malaysia, Libya, Lithuania, Jordan, India, and the United States, laying the groundwork for a greater scale of impact.
Comprehensive Pathway Development
Our goal is to provide pathways for greater numbers of students to study abroad only as long as domestic study in Gaza is impossible. Our programs function as a stop-gap and supplement while the rebuilding effort is underway.
Organizational Partnerships
Responding to the need for alternative educational models for high school students, GSSN has partnered with Code.X, Outschool, and local education providers to develop tailored solutions for displaced students. Accessing these programs allows students to connect with additional resources, earn credentials, and pursue targeted skills training. These opportunities offer students a competitive edge in the university application process.

Outschool

OutSchool offers online, self-paced classes for youth with experienced independent educators allowing students to explore their interests. GSSN has partnered with Outschool to offer 100 Gazan students in Egypt free access to STEM and English proficiency courses in a 6 month-long online offering in preparation for AP exams and IELTS English exams. Small class sizes and individual support help address learning gaps caused by disruptions to education.

Code.X

Code. X’s educational model develops computational, creative, and critical thinking skills, preparing youth to become change agents in their communities. Together, Code. X and GSSN work directly with students from Gaza helping them find placements at institutes of higher learning so they can continue their studies.

Duolingo

Duolingo provides GSSN students with vouchers for the Duolingo English Tests (DET) – which can be taken on mobile devices – giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their English proficiency given the absence of testing centers.

Maia Learning

Maia Learning provides personalized educational and career-planning resources for students. They offer tailored support in comprehensive college application guidance, resume building, financial aid guidance, and academic planning tools to meet each student’s needs.
